tains now about 14,000 volumes. It includes a very com
plete collection of American aud English tew, snd the prin
cipal works of the Civil and other Foreign tew. It is open
to students, and warmed uml lighted for their use during
both term* and tho winter vacation.
Tlie flrst terra of each academical year begins In the last
week of August, and the second term in the last week of
February ; each term continues twenty weeks. Students
are admitted at any period of a term or vacation. Tho fee*
are $50 a term, and $25 for hall a term. For this sum stu
dents have the use of tlie tew IJtirary and text books, and
of the College Library, and inny attend all the courses of
public lecture* delivered to«the undergraduates of tho
University.
