county of McIntosh, on which Wm. J. Cannon now lives,
consisting of three (3) adjoining surveys, containing in the
whole six hundred and seventy-five (675) acres of land,

Wilson, Treasurer of the Republican Blues Building and
loan Association, praying the foreclosure of the equity of
redemption of and in all that parcel or lot of land, situate,
lying and being in the city of Savannah, county of Chat
ham, and State of Georgia, and known and distinguished in
the plan of said city as Lot No. Fifty-six (60). Brown ward,
of Mordecai Myers, substitute trusteo under the marriage
settlement of Rob’t W. Poolor and Mary J., his wife, which
said property was mortgaged by the said Mordecai Myers,
trustee as aforesaid, (under and by virtue of a clause in
thn said marriage settlement, authorizing the trustees to
grant, bargain and sell all or any part of the property upon
tho request of tho said Robert W. and Mary J. Pooler, and
their request that said mortgage should be made, being
evidenced by their signing and sealing said doed of mort
gage.) to the said Edward G. Wilson, Treasurer as afore
said, by need benring date the sixteenth day of December.
In the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, to
secure the payment of the aum of two thousand dollars,
with interest at the rate of alx per cent, por annum, paya
ble mpnthly, from the sixteenth day of December. Anno
Domini, 1862, on demand, according to the tenor and effect
of a certain promissory note made by tho said Mordecai
Myers, trustee as aforesaid, to the said Edward G. Wilson,
treasurer as aforesaid, bearing even date with the said
mortage, and that there etlll remains unpaid thereon, the
sum of two thousand dollars:
On motion of Griffin & Gordon, attorneys for petitioner,
It is ordered, that the said Mordecai Myers, trustee as afore
said, do pay into this Court, on or before the first day of
the next term or this Court, the principal and interest due
on the said promissory note and mortgage, and the costs
of this application, and in default thereof, that the equity
of redemption o! the said Mordecai Myers, trustee as afore
said, and all claiming under said trust to the said mort
gaged premises bo thenceforth and forever foreclosed :
And, It is farther ordered, that a copy of this rulo bo pub
lished in one of the public gazettes of this State, once a
month for four months, or served on the mortgagor or bis
special agent or attorney, at least three months previous
to the time the money is directed to the paid, and that such
further and other proceedings be had as are prescribed by
the statutes of the State of Georgia, in such cases made and
