any persons against whom they may have lodged inform

See. 1. Be it ordained by th* mayor and aldermsa of th*
ity oi Savannah and hamlets thereof, in Council met,
ad it la hereby ordained br tha authority of th* samp,
that from and after tho passing of this ordinance, so much
of each ordinanaee or part or parts of ordinances, now of
foree In the city or Sav*nnsh, that authorise the police of
the city, whether mounted or footmen, or night watch
men or day watchmen, to receive one half the fine Im-
posed upon any person against whom they may have
lodged Imormatlon, to and la hereby rep*aled; and that
