WHEREAS tke fubferiber, on the sßth day of April
Jail, bought at publick vendue, at the Watch-house
In Savannah, a NEGROE WENCH named Sally, and
her TWO MULATTO CHILDREN, lately the property
of Capt. Edward Somerville deceased, seized on execution
by the provoß-marflial of this province, and fold by him by
virtue ‘thereof: And whereas the said wench and her children
are said to be run away into the woods, the fubferiber doth
hereby offer a Reward of Forty Shillings Sterling to any person
who (hall take up the said negroe and her children) and deli
verthem to him: But whereas the fubferiber hath reason to
believe the said wench and children are harboured and oon
cealed'from him, he doth hereby promise a Reward of Five
Pounds Sterling to any white person who (hall give due proof
of their being so harboured or concealed; and any person
harbouring or concealing them may depend on being prose
cuted to the utmost severity of the law.

LATTO CHILD, well known in Savannah, for
merly belonging to Mr. Cox. Any person wanting to pur
chase her, or with her daughter Hannah, a young wench,
may apply to John Smith by letter.
TO BE SOLD,
A PLANTATION, about five miles above Ebenezer,
JLX at a place called Blue Bluff, containing 150 acres of
land, lop of which is good high land, about nine aergs
planted with corn and and has on it adwellihg
houfe, several outhouses, and a number of mulberry trees;
the remaining 50 acres is goocj river swamp, 10 of which
are planted with rice and corn.—Also, 50 acres of good
lice land, on an ifiand Called the Cut-off, about two miles
above said plantation. Any perfoti inclinable to purchase
may treat at the above plantation with

WHEREAS, by an aft of the General Assembly of this
province, bearing date the 25 th day of March 1758.
intituled, “ An Aft fcrr-conftituting ahd dividing the several
Diftrifts and Divisions of this Province into Panihes,” it is
cnafted. That the town and diftrift of Savannah, extending
up the river Savannah, including the ifiands therein as far as
the south-east boundary of Goflren, from thence in a fouth
wefl; line to the river Great Ogechec, and from the town of
Savannah eastward as far as the mouth of the river SavanDah,
including the sea ifiands to the mouth of the river Great O
gechee, apd all the settlements on the north fide the said ri
ver to weftern boundaries thereof, (hall be and for ever
continue a parilh by the name of the parifii of Christ-Church;
and whereas the said aft intitles the \eftry elerje-to a fee of
one (hilling sterling for entering every birth, cliriftening,
marriage, and burial, and every head or mailer of a family’
is to give in such birth, christening, marriage, or burial,
to the vefiry clerk, within one month, under the penalty of
five (hillings sterling; thefeare therefore to desire all heads
or mailers of families, that have heretofore qeglefted to give
in the times cf the births, chrjftenings, marriages, and ou
rials, within the said pariih, that they do accordingly give
elfe executions will be lffued againll all defaulters
and the penalty to be included, without farther notice.

At his (hop oppofne the Rev. Mr. Zouberbuhler’s *
GIVES notice to his friends and customers, that he has
the following GOODS ready made, which he will fell
on reafonable.terms for ca(h or fliort credit, viz. Womens
laced fide saddles and furniture,—mens and boys (addles fit
for cowpens,—houfings of different prices,—chair harness —.
hame collars of the bell kind, —holsters with llrops, main
pillions with drops,—leather jockey caps,—boot and other
drops,-—furcingles of the bed kind,—double and finvle
girths,— llirrup leathers and cruppers,—bell palm bit bri
dies, —fiiafile and half curbs, —a few mouthing bit bridles
for breaking young horfes,—lilk bill’d chair and cart whip
thongs,—a piece of body belt web,—fwivel llirrup irons _L
faddleand bell pump tacks,—ftaple and tuft nails, Sec. Sec.
He repairs saddles, lines chairs, and has moll kinds of
faddlery made use of in this province; and he hopes to
intire fatisfaftion to all who may beplcafed to employ him
as he is determined to make fufficicnt work of the bell mate
rials that are to be had with the quickest-dispatch, and at the
moll reasonable rates.—Orders from the country will be
punftually obeyed.
. N. B. He desires the favour of all those who are anvwife
indebted to him-for work done by Holzendorff and C. rell at
Sunbury and Newport to pay their refpeftive debts by the firll
of December next, as it does not suit him to wait any longer.

to Francis Arthur and company, that there is an absolute
necessity for immediate payment ofxheir refpeftive debt”
Hcwill difpofeof fix valuable TRACTS of LAN D upon
very moderate terms, containing 4750 acres, viz.
One traft situate on North Newport river, about four
mites fiom Sunbury, containing 900 acres, 400 of which are
good swamp, with a fine reserve of water, a good dwelling
lioufe thereon, and 80 acres of the high land cleared.
Another traft of 350 acres, on a navigable creek, within
one mile of Sunbury, good for indico and rice, about 90
acres of the high land cleared, and a dwelling-house there
on, pleasantly iituated.
800 acres on Bull 1 own swamp, four miles from a landing.
900 acres on Newport swamp, fix miles rom a landing.
500 acres on said swamp, seven miles from a landing.
1300 acres in St. Andrew’s pari (h, two miles from a landing.
These four lart trafts are principally rice land, and efteein
ed inferior to none in this province, having great conveni
ency for back water.
