Irish Potatoes arc about the average. Sweet Potatoes are full between New York and Virginia, but below the average in the Southern States. Thirty per cent, on an average product of sugar may be expected. No reports have been received from Lako Superior and Minnesota, hut it is probable that tho barometer has risen in that region, and the area of lowest pressure, which has remained north of tho lakes, has moved north-eastward.— The barometer has fallen very generally tho Southern and Gulf States. Heavy and smoky weather has continued from Virginia to Missouri aud north; clear cathcr in the interior of the Southern aud Gulf Stab s, with threatening weather and slight rain this afternoon ou the im mediate South Atiuntic and Florida coast, and a decided fall in temperature.
