Mr. Hitobooek, of the Atlanta Soap Factory, creates a sensation with hia two thouaaud pound bar of Boap. One of tho principal attractions is a full-rigged miniature steamship, which bus been launched upon lbs lake. It is a perfect beauty and apes the ways of larger vessels to a nicety. The grounds ore iu good condition, having boon thoroughly cleaned off, and the buildings iu good order and freshly iivesi net’ of fellows in the world, and are working like budget's iu their several de partmculs. They cun always be found when wanted, and are always ready to answer questions or give information. To-day will probably bring a large crowd to the grounds, os the exhibition will 1k> fairly opened, though many articles hare yet to he placed for exhibi tion. Messrs. Echols k Wilson, in their buil ding, have a vory largo aud fine collec tion of agricultural implements and ma chinery. Their display is a show of it self iu tiioir line. But we cannot yet attempt to particu larize. There are many things Worthy of particular note; but os all were in some confusion yesterday, nothing could bo regularly and well written up. 8o far, the indications are good for a good exhibition ami a largo attendance, Trains will run out every half hour to day. Resolved, That tho polls be open ed iu cnch Ward in the city of Atlanta on Friday, the 27th instant, at a place to be designated by the President of each Ward Club for his Word, from the hour 2d. That tho President of each Ward Club appoint managers and clerks for tlie purpose of reoeiving the ballots; that all Democrats who are legal voters will be entitled to vote, and the two candi dates receiving the highest numbers of votes l>e declared the nominees of the Democratic party. 3d. That each voter, on depositing his ballot for candidates for Aldermen, place on the same ballot the name of the can didate who is his choice for Mayor; that on the day of nomination, one manager from each Ward, to be appointed bv the President of tho Democratic Club for that Ward, meet at the City Hall at 10 o’clock, a. m. , and consolidate the ballots for Mayor, and shall declare which can didate received the highest number of votes, who shall be the nomineo of the Democratic party lor Mayor. 4th.
