Strawberries.
Will wonder* never cease t Only a
day or two ago we were luxuriating in the
seoond growth of June apples. Yester
day wo did better. Oar young friend, B.
J. Wilson, of Echols A Wilson, brought
us some very tine specimens of straw
berries, just gathered from a patch on
his father's Willow Brook Farm, near
West End. The berries were large for
any season, fully ^ripo, and as delicately
flavored as though their sweetness had
been borrowod from the perfume-bur
geoned breath of May. Strawberries,
picked from tbe bed about about the
middle day of November, is somewhat of
a rarity.
