drinks was served at the noon hour
under the shade of the trees.
During the day the young folk and

and enjoyed bathing in the cool
waters of the pool. One of the de¬
lightful features of the afternoon
was the watermelon cutting that was
enjoyed by every one, for what is
more delicious and appetizing than a
“Georgia watermelon.” ?
A number of guests from Fort
Valley were in attendance and were
appreciative of the hospitality.
Late in the afternoon, ice cream
was served, after which all wended
their way home, having spent an un¬
usually pleasant outing.
