Parents of gifted students at Hunt Elementary School and Hunt
Primary School in Fort Valley were invited to breakfast at HES
and lunch at HPS recently. Over 25 parents of HES students
attended a breakfast on March 20, held in the HES media center.
Janie Stump, gifted teacher at HES/HPS, spoke about goals and
expectations for gifted students, and students shared inventions
and other favorite projects they made during the year. On March
30, parents of 2nd grade gifted students at HPS came to lunch in
the HPS parent center where they learned about gifted goals and
procedures and listened to students explain their research projects
and the research process. Both the breakfast and lunch were
served by Sara Mason, parent coordinator for both schools.
