A good, honest, square-deal medicine of
known composition is Dr. Pierce’S Qoldea
Medical Discovery. It still enjoys an Im-

tions that have come Into prominence In
the earlier period of its popularity have
"gone by tho board” and are never more
heard of. There must bo some reason for
this long-thno popularity and that is to

once given a fair trial for weak stomach,
or for liver and blood affections, Its Supe

hence It has survived and grown in pop

its sterling curative virtues still maintain
its position in the front ranks, where it

by the Louisville and Nashville
railroad that it will no longer re

acts.
A high official of the road gave
the reason for.the action by ex

be interstate commerce, has been
called in question by a suit filed
in the federal court of Indiana
affecting the practice as carried

Preacher Indicted.
Oartorsville, Ga.,Jan. 28—Rev. 1
Walt Ilolcomb, son-in-law of
the late Rev. Ham F. Jones and
a co-worker of the late evangel
ist, has been indicted by the
Bartow county grand jury for
using obscene language in the
presence of Indies.
At the last tabernacle meeting
held here last September, on tho
last Sabbath afternoon of the
meeting, about five thousand
people had gathered to hear Rev.
French Oliver, of Chicago, preach
a sermon to men only. This spec
ial service had been announced
daily for a week, bnt on account
of thousands of visitors being in
the city in attendance at this
meeting Sunday, quito a large
nnmberof people were not famil
iar with the program for this
spocial service. Consequently
there were in the audience quite
a largo number of ladies.
Despite the fact that it was
raining hard Mr. Holcomb, it iB
claimed, endeavored to have the
ladies leave the building, so the
special sprmon for men could
proceed. On account of Hie
heavy rain, however, they were
slow to leave the building, when
it is charged that Mr. Holcomb
used language publicly that
should not be used in the pres
ence of ladies. ,
The,affair created quite a stir
at theltime and the indictment
is the result.
I trust this may be read by many suf
ferers from kidney aDd bladner trouble"
