ELECTION NOTICE.
To the qualified voters of For
syth county, Georgia:
Notice is hereby given that on
th • 25th day of June, 1919, at?
election will be held in said
county, at which election shaii
be submitted to the qualified
voters of said county for their
determination the question of
whether or not bonds shall be
issued by said county of For
syth in the aggregate sum of
one hundred thousand (SIOO,-
000.00) dollars for the purpose
of laying out, making, repair
ing or rebuilding, the public
rads of said county, or in build
ing new roads in said county,
for the purchasing of material,
equipment, tools, machinery, &
supplies to be used in suchwork
Said bonds shall be dated Ju
l'y Ist, 1919, to be in denomina
tions of one thousand ($1000)
dollars each, numbered from
one (1) to one hundred (100),
both inclusive, maturing as fol
lows: Five thousand ($5000.-
00) each year January Ist 1930
to 1949, both inclusive, to bear
interest at the rate of live per
cent (5 per cent) per annum,
payable annually on the Ist day
of January each year. The prin
cipal anl interest of said bonds
to be paid in gold coin of the
U ited States of America of the
present standard of weight and
fineness.
Said election to be held at the
usual voting or election pre
cincts in said county, which are
Barkers, Bells, Big Creek, Chat
tanoochee, Chestatee, Coal Mt.
Gumming, Ducktown, Hightow
er. New Bridge, Rolands, Set
tendown and Vnckerys, in the
same manner and under the
same rules and regulations that
el dtions for olheers in said
county arc held.

The Shadburn ferry will be
open to the general public from

said ferry assume their own
risk. The ferryman, Mr. Patter
son, will be on duty from seven
o’clock a. m. to 7 o’clock p. m.
Service at night must be arrang
ed with ferryman by parties
