WAGA-TV Channel 5, in Atlanta is

casting from its new 1100 foot tower, full
power. This new tower is the tallest man
made structure in the Southeastern sec
tion of the United States.
WAGA-TV’s new. tower is the latest
in television tower construction and was
built to give WAGA-TV viewers benefit
best in modern telecasting.
Mr. Glenn Jackson, Managing Direc
tor of WAGA-TV pointed out that in
addition to being 1100 feet tall, this new
tower is also 2049 feet above sea-level
and will give many thousands more peo
ple an opportunity to watch top-flight
WAGA-TV programs.
