The Rev. Dr. James M.
Griffith was elected exec
utive-secretary-treasurer of
the executive committee of
the Georgia Baptist conven
tion Sept. 16.
Griffith has been pastor of
Beech Haven Baptist Church
in Athens for 14 years. He is
completing his second term
as president of the conven
tion.
As executive secretary
treasurer, Griffith will be
come the chief administra
tive and promotional officer
of the executive committee.
