Week Here
The Forsyth County Volun
teer Fire Department had a
“relatively quiet week”
June 16 through June 22,
according to dispatcher Car
otene Glover.
The department answered
two auto fires during the
week, one on Wednesday
morning near the North
Georgia Rendering Plant,
and one on Sunday morning
at the Four Mile Creek
Bridge on Highway 19. Sta
tions eight and nine re
sponded to those,
respectively.
Station six was called to a
residence on Mullinax Road
in the Midway community
Monday at 11:54 a.m., but no
fire was found, said Mrs.
Glover.
