Garage sale for charity is being planned for Sunday, Dec. 10
There will be a garage sale, for
charity, on Sunday Dec. 10th from
noon until 3 p.m. at Troncalli Chrys
ler-Plymouth Dodge in Cumming.
You can designate the proceeds
from the sale of your donated items to
go to a local charity of your choice or
you can place a consignment value
with any excess going to your chosen
charity.
Check around the attic, basement
and closets for those items you no
longer need and put them to use dur
ing this holiday season for a good
cause and good fun.
Bring those items to the showroom
of Troncalli Chrysler-Plymouth-
Dodge, 301 Atlanta Road between 9
a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Fri
day so that the items can be inven
toried prior to the Sunday sale day.

Deaths
Margery Robinson
A funeral service was held for Mar
gery O’Neal Smith Robinson, 69 of
Cumming who died on Friday, De
cember 1.
Survivors include her husband, Le-
Roy W. Robinson Sr., Cumming; sons
Leßoy W. Robinson Jr., Gainesville,
Dr. William W. Robinson, Cornelia,
and Jessie L. Robinson, Cumming;
grandchildren, Leßoy W. Robinson
Robinson, and
Jessica LeAnne Robinson; brother,
Wesley C. Smith, Tucs<m, Ariz. and
nieces, Nancy Weese, and Janet Da
vis, both of Canada.
A graveside service was held Sun
day, December 3, at 3 p.m. in the Pope
Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery
with the Rev. John Pike officiating.
James Harrington Sr.
A funeral service was held for
James Clyde Harrington Sr., age 89 of
Cumming died Friday, December 1.
Survivors include his wife, Lois
Freeman Harrington, Cumming;
children, Commissioner James C.
Harrington Jr., and Jerry Harring
ton, both of Cumming, Francine Guy,
Smyrna, Doris and Fred Phillips,
Stockbridge, Faye Saade, Robert and
Mary Anne Harrington, all of Ellen
wood; 13 grandchildren; 8 great
grandchildren; and several other
relatives.
The funeral service was held Sun
day, December 3, 1 p.m. in the In
gram Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Haldene Bagwell officiating.
Burial was held Sunday, December
3, at 4:30 p.m. in the Barfield Baptist
Church Cemetery, in Barfield,
Alabama.
Mr. Harrington was a veteran of
World War I and served in every ma
jor battle of the war.
He was awarded the Distinguished
Services Cross, the Purple Heart, and
numerous other metals.
William Rainwater
A funeral service was held for Wil
liam S. (Bill) Rainwater, 69 of Cum
ming who died Sunday, December 3 at
his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Doris
Bruce Rainwater, Cumming; 6 chil
dren including Todd Rainwater and
Brian Rainwater, both of Cumming;
three sisters and one brother and a
number of other relatives.
Field Investigator Jim Kirk will be
at the Community Room in the For
syth County Courthouse from 9 a jn. to
2:30 p.m.

Band and Chorus will present a con

Arthritis aquatic
program is offered
Lanier Athletic Center is currently
offering a special aquatic exercise
program designed specifically for
persons with arthritis.
Gasses are held every Monday and
Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15
a.m. Lanier Athletic Center is located
Lanier Crossing Shopping Center.
The program is taught by people
trained by the Arthritis Foundation.
There is no charge for Center mem
bers and it’s $5 per class for non

The Cumming Chorale’s annual Christmas concert will
take place Thursday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 9. Both
performances will be at 8 p.m. at the Cumming First United

Forsyth County Health Department
every Wednesday from 9 a.m to 11

The vaccine will be given to people
who are 60 years or older and/ or

charge is $5.
