Relay for Life sponsor in a special
presentation which will be featured
with upcoming Relay coverage.
What began as an in-school
fundraiser at North Forsyth Middle
School has become a national
Relay for Life promotion - the sale
of $1 moons from the Relay logo
will represent a memorial donation
while a sun from the logo will
honor someone special. The effort
is going national as a result of what
began at NFMS, announced
Charlene Harrell, in recognizing
Principal Jane Fuqua and Lisa
Reynolds. An artistic and history
based NFMS fundraising effort
will be featured next week.
Harrell explained how to start a
Relay for Life team and announced
a team captain’s meeting will be
held Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. in the
Chattahoochee Elementary School
media center.
“Let’s get to work,” Harrell said.
