Forsyth eases water restrictions slightly
No outdoor watering via the use. of irriga
tion systems of any kind is permitted
between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.
seven days a week, with the odd/even system
being in effect the remainder of each 24 hour
period.
Here’s how the restrictions will work in
Forsyth County:
If your home or business has an even
numbered address, you may irrigate on even
numbered dates except between the hours of
10 a.m. and 10 p.m.

The outdoor watering ban means that res
idents in Forsyth County cannot water their
lawns and gardens during the banned hours.
All hand-watering, such as washing of
cars, pressure washing, etc., will be permit
ted using only the odd/even rule.

this ban. Failure to comply with these
restrictions will result in:
• First offense: Written warning.
• Second offense: A citation to appear in
Magistrate Court, with fines up to SI,OOO
and/or 60 days in jail.
Third and subsequent offense: Same as
second offense with disconnection of serv
ice.

Hearings set for
Northern Subarea,
Ga. 400 hearings
The Georgia Regional Transportation
Authority will conduct a series of public infor
mation meetings regarding the Northern Sub
Area/Ga. 400 Corridor analysis starting
Monday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. in Cobb County.
The second in the series of hearings will take
place at the Sawnee Cultural Arts Center, 1090
Tribble Gap Rd. in Cumming, from 7-9 p.m.
This is your chance to review the evaluation
of the three alternatives for long-range trans
portation and land use choices to improve
mobility and air quality in the Northern Sub-
Area of the Atlanta Metropolitan Region.
