Forsyth County Cub
Scout Pack 1099, Den 9
... will sponsor a God and
Family Program in conjunc
tion with St. Columba’s
Episcopal Church of Johns
Creek. The program is open to
grades 4-5 Cub Scouts and
Junior Girl Scouts wishing to
earn their God and Family
medal. The program highlights
the value of a strong family
bond and is designed to
strengthen the child’s relation
ship with his or her family in
the context of Christianity.
Parents are encouraged to join
their children as mentors for
this program. You do not need
to be a member of St.
Columba’s to attend the God
and Family program as it is a
non-denominational study
designed for Anglicans and
Protestants.
The BSA God and Family
program will begin Jan. 28
and end with the presentation
of the God and Family medal
on Sunday, March 21.
Meetings will be Wednesdays
from 5-6 p.m., with the excep
tion of Ash Wednesday.

designed for mothers with

MOPS meetings include
breakfast, door prizes, an out
side speaker and other activi

and craft time. Your little ones
are loved and nurtured during
our MOPS meetings with our
MOPPETS program, a quality
child care program that
includes stories, play, music
and crafts. Meetings are the
first and third Friday of each
month at Creekside Methodist
Church. Mothers of all
denominations, as well as
moms who do not attend
church, are welcome. MOPS
fees are $6 per meeting (mom
