from 10:30-11:30 a.m. In the
heat and humidity of a mid
summer’s day, it’s hard to
spend much time in a garden.
But coming home after work
in the evenings to cooler tem
peratures and a moonlight gar
den makes more sense. Sylvia
Holler, Forsyth County Master
Gardener, will give an intro
duction into how to transform
your garden into a place that is
to be enjoyed not only during
the day, but also by night.
• Session 2: Attracting
Wildlife to Your Landscape
will be Saturday. March 13,
from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
at the Sharon Forks Library,

class will be presented by
Shay Smith. Forsyth County
Extension Agent. Don’t have

Beekeeping Workshop

Prepare for cheer tryouts
... Forsyth Central cheer
leaders will host its annual
"Cheer Dawg Clinic” on
Saturday. March 13, from 9
a.m. to 2 p.m. at Forsyth
Central’s new gym for ages 10
years old and older. The cost
is $55. Registration forms are
available in Forsyth County
School’s main offices. This
year a "Mock Tryout” is avail
able from 2-3 p.m. The cost is

The Otwell Middle
School
... Band Boosters will host
a Bizarre Bazaar on Saturday,
March 13. from 8 a.m. to 3
p.m. at the Otwell Middle
School bus parking lot. There
will be live entertainment,
courtesy of the Otwell Middle
School bands, an old-fash
ioned cake walk w ith home
made goodies, snacks and
sodas w ill also be available for
purchase and a flea market
bazaar of treasures.
Bus spaces will be avail
able for flea market space. If
you are interested in leasing a
spot, plan to be at the band
room (on the Bus Parking
side) Saturday morning.
