According to the
FCSO, the crash occurred on Crystal

“Ms. Reid attempted to correct her
vehicle back onto the roadway, travel

as a red Chevrolet Impala... crested
the hill,” the release said. “The Camry
struck the Impala head-on.”
Following the crash, Reid, who was
not wearing her seatbelt during the
crash, was listed as being in serious
condition, and the driver of the Impala
was taken to the hospital in stable con

The child “was sitting properly
buckled on a booster seat” in the back
seat of Reid’s car before the crash, the
release said.

A piece of land off Bald Ridge Marina Road could
become a park following a decision at the Forsyth
County Board of Commissioners regular meeting on
Thursday, Sept. 1.
County Attorney Ken Jarrard added an item to the
agenda regarding the county purchasing property
from Stevenson Asset Management Inc.
The board previously objected three times to
annexation requests from the city of Cumming for
the land on Bald Ridge Marina Road east of Ga. 400

In July, the annexation request was withdrawn by
Gateway to Lanier, a developer that was looking to
rezone the land from the county’s commercial busi
