State of Georgia, February 1787.
THE Commissioner for Accounts for this State having
opened his Office in Augusta, requests all individuals
who have any claims against the public for supplies, &c. yet
unliquidated, to bring in their accounts as soon as possible for
settlement, as but a tliort time can be allowed them for that
purpose.
Officers and soldiers of the late army, Principal Officers in
any of the late five grand departments, of the Quarter-Mailer,
Commissary, Hospital, Clothing, and Navy, who may have
any accounts at this day unsettled, need not apply again to
the Commissioner, as such accounts (if any there are) nuift
all be fettled by the Commissioners long since appointed for
those departments, nowin the city ofNew-York. *

Washington Pofi.
THE Port from the town of Washington in Wilkes
County to Augusta, will arrive here this evening, and
will set out to morrow for Washington. It will continue to
ride weekly during the present year. All letters left with
the Printer of this paper for Wilkes County wiil be Tafely
conveyed. And those left at Henry Moungers in Washing
ton, will he conveyed weekly to Augusta, under certain re
gulations which can be seen at the Printing-Office.

BEGS leave to inform his friends and the public in gene
ral, that in consequence of his being appointed a VEN
DUE-MASTER for the town of Savannah by the Honorable
the Aflembly, he will particularly attend to any business they
ihall entrull to his care, and will be thankful for the consign
ments of their I umber and Produce, which they may fend to-
Savannah for sale ; and will likewise punctually attend to any
orders or requisitions which lie may receive from time to
time from them. Gentlemen that will favour him with theic
cufiom may depend on ftriCt attention, and pointed punctua

Forty Shillings beward,
STOLEN from Augusta commons, on the night of the
25th of January lad, A Sorrel Gelding, about,four
teen hands and a half high, nine years old, a blaze on his
forehead, brand not known, and is a natural pacer. Any
person who delivers the said Horle to Samuel Hemphill, in
Augusta, or to Thomas Mackie, in Wilkes county, Broad
liver, tliall have the above Reward.

roach main, and has a liar on his forehead. Whoever will
deliver said liorfe to Mr. John Currie, in Augusta, or the
fubfciibcr in Savannah, lhall receive Twenty Shillings Re

John Bacon, deccafed, are desired to make them known
to Joseph Pannil, in Wilkes, or James Fox, in Augusta; and

given.
