In Midcibcr’s gold catted urns,
By Ganymede preftdted in filence^profound,

Sire Jove front his chair, did his giiefis thus

“ Immortals, attend to those signs;

“ And hail the grand art, which ages remote,
“ Shall allurne as thq theme of their lays.

“ Jheir guardian and patron, from henceforth

“ And my fanftion thus know I have giv’n.
“ Delcend, with me, Gods! to yon mystical

“ And my mandate with transports receive.”
This faid—from celeft’al abodes to terrene,
The Deities immed’ately flew.
Their abfcnce when known, did great Juno appal,
She fwift as the lightning gives chace,
*sur finding the Gods in a Free- Mason’s Hall,
She fmfl’d—and gave Jove an embrace.
