United States, against all persons in any of
the said departments, who stand chargeable
with public monies, and whose accounts fliall
not be lodged with the proper Commiflioners
within four months, computed from the pre
sent date ; and that this order be publiftied

Revived , That the said Commiflioners be
directed to continue their unremitted atten
tion to the final adjustment of all accounts
which have arisen in the said departments,
and to the recovery ©f all sums for which
suits may be commenced ; and that at the
termination of their commiflion, they depo
sit with the Register ©f the Treasury all the
books and papers of their refpefiive offices,
together with a general abftrafi of the sums
due from individuals, in order that immedi.

Congress proceeded to the elefiion, and the
ballots being taken, Mr. Jonathan Burrall
was defied a Commiflioner for fettling the
accounts of the Quarter-Mafter’a and Com
miflary’s departments; and Mr. Benjamin
Walker was defied Commiflioner for fettling
the accounts of the Holpital, Marine and
Cioathicr's departments.

This Morning,
A NEGRO MAN, about 23 years of age,
named Adam, about 5 feet ten inche»
high, has loft the fourth finger of one of his.
hands, his feet have been froftbitten, looks
swelled about the throat and face, and is of a
morose appearance. Had on when he went
away a pair of brown jean or fattinet breeches,
and an oznaburg ftiirt, he likewile had a pair
of oznaburg trowfers and a ftiirt, exclusive of
the one he had on ; speaks good Englifli, and
was born in the Weft-Indies.
I suppose he will make for the town of Sa
vannah, as he was lately purchased from Mr.
Rae, Tavern-keeper of that place, near which
he has a wife.
Any person harbouring the said Negro,
fliall on proof thereof be prosecuted to the ut
nioft rigour of the law. If he is taken up be
low Little River, a Reward of Fifteen Dol
lars, if below Augusta Twenty Dollars, but
if above Little River Ten Dollars with all
realonable charges will be paid to any person
whe will deliver him It the fubferiber’s rtore
on Broad River, or lecurehim in such a man
