feated by Cluflin university, 13

The game was unspectacular
and the spectators were given
few thrills, the play being for
the most part dull and listless.
Most of the play was In State
territory.
Both claflin scores came late

touchdown coming when Shiver
scoied 011 a 2u-yaid line buck,
and the second just about live
minutes before the game ended
when Shiver again crossed the
goal line after he had inter-
cepted a Georg a pass and ran
20 yards for the score. The
extra point was made.
