THOMAS Of my In dear mother MW| |
MRS. LOU IDA THOMAS
who departed this life
September 30, 1967
The month of September is.
here again.
The saddest month of all the
year.
For it was on the 30th day
That niy darling mother passed
away.
Gone from hie her loving face,
Her pleasant, cheerful ways;
A heart that won so many
friends
bygone, happy days.
Though her smiles are gone
forever.
And hands I cannot touch.
I shall never' lou-* sweet mem¬
ories
Of one I loved so much.
'The dearest one this world
could hold,
A cheerest smile, a heart of
geld.
Those who knew her will know
How much I lost one year ago. 1
They say time heals a broken
heart,
But no, that is not true.
For one long, lonely year has
passed
And my y heart , still aches , for , i
you.
fn my heart tears shall evtr j
llow.
In memory of one that I loved
so
Till I, too, shall reach the ;
Where shpr e and ing j

Memories are something no
one can steal,
Death is a heartache nothing
can heal.
Some have forgotten that you
have gone,
But I remember, ro matter how
long.
Two bright eyes, a tender
smile,
\ loving heart that knew no
guile,
Deep trust in God that all was
right,
Her joy to make some other
bright.
ff sick and suffering one -he
knew,
Some gentile act of love she’d
do,
No thought of self, but of the
ether,
I know he said, “Well Done,
