Ou© has been on the books for some
time whioh is about os follows: Mr. Jeff
Johnson rented a store of Mr. Joseph
Kylo. Johnson was agent of the Wheeler
A Wilson 8owing Machine Company. He
deposited with the Chattahoochee Nation
al Bank, and had $150 when he left the
oity. Mr. Kylo guarnisbeed tho bank for
the raouey to pay the rent. Wheeler A Wil
son Company claimed the money as their
own and not Johnson’s, and, also, we be
lieve, that the latter was not their agent.
Agroeably to its order, the bank
paid tho money into court, and
that tribunal, aftor a hearing, ordered
paid to Kylo. Now the attoruoys of the
oompouy are suing the bauk for $150, on
acoouut of claimed illegality in paying the
amount into Court All tho bank was en
doavoring to do was to obey the orders of
the Court and let the parties entitled to
have the money. The caso has hitherto
been won by the bank. Yesterday some
differences occurring between the recol.
lections of the Judge and counsel, the case
