it appears to advertisers.

and every stylish wardrobe
will contain an English
Homespun, 40 inches wide,
and every thread wool, in
rich Plaids and choice col
ors, so stylish and at 59

This Fabric promises to

Miss Allen. Miss Mehaffey.
The ladies are invited to be present at our display of French Mil

not hesitate to say that our present stock of Millinery surpasses any ever
seen in Columbus, or perhaps any Southern cityl
OUR MILLINERY PARLORS
Are far the largest and most handsomely fitted up in the city. Owing
to our increased millinery business, we have found it necessary to devot

class workmanship and prompt delivery is the best in the city. Every
thing that goes out of this department is first class in every respect,
whether it be a Hat at $2 or one at $20.
To classify styles, describe them in words, is beyond the powers of
the advertiser. Any description can be no more than suggestive. The
whole story is told in the display. The most attractive to look at and
the most conservative of your pocket book is under this roof. The more
you look, the more fully you will realize it.
All are welcomed, whether purchasers or not.

Boucle Suiting.
STYLISH TRIMMINGS.

Florida moss, but s • graceful is
the confusion that it must make
men praise and women envy the

est fashion authorities we
don’t know, but it is here
for your critical inspection

MOORE, BROS.
French and German Plaids
While the Scotch Plaids, with
their predominating blue and
green mixtures, figure quite ex
tensively among the imported
goods, it is also worthy of atten
tion that we have received a rich
collection of French and Germ m
Plaids in many beautiful blend
ings.
Plaids undoubtedly rank s
: among
the most fashionable of this sea
son’s dress fabrics and from the
Eiffel-like stacks here displayed,
it will readily be appreciated
that we early rated their impor
tance. At 50 cents per yard there
is a remarkable asssortment. a
still more interesting one at T5
cents, while the finest qualities
sell at $1.00.
In the remote and recent
past there may have been
true bargains reaped, but
any former experience is of
small consequence compared
with this advantage.

Handkerchiefs.
Many articles mentioned
in this advertisement come
under the head of luxuries.
Handkerchiefs are a necesity—

There is one special number,
however, that we would like for
every reader of this paper to
have, viz: Our all linen em
broidered handkerchiefs at 16c.
If they don’t beat any
thing you ever saw at the
price, return them at our
expense, if you live out of
the city. This is only a
sample bargain of what you
can get out of this great
lief s
handkerchief stock.
Linens.
Products from Ireland, from
Germany and from France, all
represented in our great linen
stock. While this advertisement
was intended to be devoted prin
cipally to Dress Goods, it would
be doing one of the best depart
ments of our business a great in
justice r ot to mention it.
