pose of making “a thorough investigation and
examination of the financial operations of the State
of Georgia from 1*51 to the present time,” and de-
•ira, without prejudice or partiality, to discharge
the duty imposed. We invite all persons to come
forward and give, under oath, all the cvidqpcc they
may have that will throw light on the subject mat
ter of investigation.
On motion, the above resolution was referred to
the Provisional Governor for publication.
