and taking this view alone of the matter, he

Ordered, That the Tax Collector of
Newrqn county, collect Fifiy percent, upon all
specific Taxes levied by the Suite, on persons
or corporation, residing or doing business in
the county of Newton for the year 1873, except
Lawyers, Doctors, nod Dentists, who are ex
empt by law from county and municipal taxa
tion. Said tax to be collected at the same time
the Specific Taxes levied by the State are col
lected, and the amount thus collected by the
Tuts Collector, shall be paid over to the county
Treasurer, for county purposes.
