A Proclamation.
GEORGIA:
By J. M. TERRELL, Governor
of said State.
Whereas, Official information
has been received at this Depart¬
ment that an July 4th, 1905, in the
County of Newton, some unknown
person did kill and murder Wyatt
Bailey, and escaped and is now a
fugitive from justice.
I have thought pfoper, therefore,
to issue this my Proclamation,
hereby offering a reward of One
Hundred Dollars for the apprehen¬
sion of said unknown person, with
evidence sufficient to convict, to
the Sheriff of said County aud
State.
And I do, moreover, charge and
require all Officers in this State,
Civil and Military, to be vigilant
in endeavoring to apprehend the
said unknown person, in order that
he may be brought to trial for the
offense with which he stands
charged.
Given under my hand and Seal
of the State, this the 31st day of
July, 1905.
