ests of Freemasonry, under the style and title al
“The Masonic Messenger.” We take great pleas
ure in stating that Brothers. Lawrence, late Edi
tor of the Masonic Signet and Journal, whose fame
as a Masonic writer is well knowu throughout the
Masonic world, will be associated with us in the
editorial!dep*i'tmeut. Our efforts will, therefore, be
directed to the revival of the Signet and Journal,
a work formerly well known and widely circulated,
but which was swallowed up In the general crash
that succeeded the Inaugural ion of the late war. We
earnestly Invite the late patrons of the Signet and
Journal, as well as the fraternity at large, to come
to our support, pledging ourselves to use every
means in our power to render the vork iu every
way deserving their patronage.
