Dyspepsia, Diarrbasa, Piles, eta, Dr.

THE ILLS THAT FLESH ABE
heir to are many, bnt a remedy for them
all is furnished by nature. There is no
doubt that for every disease there is an
antidote in the vegetable kingdom. The
riboriginees were the victims ol many and
loathsome maladies, yet they found in
the wilds of their forests remedies sure
and powerful. Acting on this belief,
DR. TUTT’6 SARSAPARILLA AND
QUEEN’S DELIGHT is offered to
tbe public us a mobt hignly concen
trated vegetable compound, possess
ing extraordinary power for the cure of
Rheumatisn, Neuralgia, Scrofulo, Ul
cers, Swelling o« the Glands, Eruptions
of tbe Skin, Female Diseases, Liter
Complaint, Secondary Sypmiis, the el-
fecte of Mercury, etc. It is a most pow
erful alterative and blood punfier, ami
at ti e same time so harmless that it may
be used bv all.
Watch out for Chills and Fever, and
prepare the system for resisting its attack
by using Dr. Tntt’s Liver Pills.
DR. TUTT’S HAIR DYE MAKES
THE OLD LOOK YOUNG.
Caution!
Every genu no box of Dr. McLane’s
Liver Pilis bears the signature of Flem
ing Brothers, Pitsbnrg, Pa., and their
private U. S. stamp. S&* Take no oth-
er, the market is fall of imitations.
It is the popular verdict that people
who hav6 been accustomed to the use ci
Bitters or Cordials, are ODliged, eventu
ally, to resort to MeLane’s Liver Pills for
permanent relief.
Special IV otiee
Our Bodily Infirmities.
Physical Infirmities are the lot of all. Millions
are always sick. Mo msn, woman or child is uni.
formly in perfect health. Much, however, of the
stekness and suffering which rendorllfea burden
to so many of our fellow beings Is due to careless
ness and neglect. A mighty antidote to the leading
causes of dir ease has b< en provided. It is as harm
less as it is efficient. Mo poisonous drug enters into
its composition. It is an undefi.ed stimulant, tonic
and aperient, of which every ingredient is vegeta
ble. This unexceptionable preventive and restora
tive medlcino is not "a new thing under the sun."
Hoatetter's Stomach Bitters will soo have been be
fore tbe world a quarter of a century, and It la not
too much to aver that tnoussnaye, tens of thou
sands, are now using it who would have been in
their graves yearn ago had they not been strength
ened and snstained by this wholesome stimulant.
The rapidity with which minor ailmente become,
when neglected, obstinate diseases, is well known,
This tonic is lamous for the immediate check which
It gives to these breeders of deadly disorders. The
sonsation of Unguor.the sick headache, tho nervous
ness, the indisposition to exertion, the nausea, the
confusion of brain, tho physical debility, which are
intended to premonish us of the approach of serious
danger, are invariably removed by a few doses of
the Bitters. Tbe lame of the preparation as a genu
ine apecifio for dyspepsia, bilious complaints, m da-
rlouB fevers, rbenma.ism and chronic debility, is as
wide as tho would; and iu these days of infamous
charlatan ism, when fierce catk.rtics, that rob the
invalid of the last remnants ol his strength, are ad
vertised as Uivlgorants [!]. it is ipdeed a blevsiug to
mankind that Hostetter’* Stomach Bitiers are every
where procuiable and everywhere popular.

Wa ones more earnestly solicit the attention ol
oar people to the enterprise for the erection of a
Monument la honor of the Confederate Dead of
Georgia, and others who were killed or died on
Georgia soil. The time for tbe distribution is rap*
idly approaching. It will take place in this city, on
the 4th of December next, Deo Volants. There wiU
positively be so poatponement. All sales will stop
on the 20th of November. The fate of this effort
will be decided then. Our people will exhibit their
gratitude for the bloody sacrifices of their brave de
fenders, or exhibit to tbe world their cold indiffer
ence. They will exhibit their pride or its loss; their
appreciation of those who fell In their service, or a
disregard of the noblest sacrifice which man can
make for hla own land, hit people and their homes.
We yet believe the spirits of the dead still haunt
the land they loved and for which they died. He
yet believe that those who Uto in these haunts of
love will substantially prove their devotion to the
dead “Soldiers in Gray.** Hundreds, yea thousands
open thousands, will wish to become shareholders
in the tribute to their fame between now and the
20tli of November. We moat respectfully request
them to reflect. Those thousands of names thrown
upon ns at the last moment may so overwhelm ns as
to make it impoasible to prepare all of their certifi
cates, record their names, mail them and prepare
the numbers for tbe drawing on the 4th of Decem
ber. Hence much money may be necessarily re
turned, to tbe detriment of the cause and their dis
appointment in the cliaucea at the distribution of
the prizes, met thus-, then, who have tho means
and intend to contribute do to at once. If some are
not reedy and mast wait, let their contributions
comr as soon as they are able to make them to tue
Agenta in their locality, or to this office.
Have no fears of trickery, or fraud, or specula-
tlon. V hatever may have happened in otner schemes
or sections, we have an organized Association,
consisting of some of our best citizens. An expose
will be made of all that haa been and will be dons
in connection with th.a enterprise. All will be fair
and honorable.
If all the tickets shall be sold, the amount to be
distributed will be, in currency, one hundred and
thirty-one thousand dol-ars; in real estate, ninety-
nine thousand dollars, in cotton, twenty thousand
dollars, making a grand total of two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars.
If all the tickets are not sold, tbe amount recleved
(after deducting the portion allotted to the Mono-
ment, the commissions of the Agents, and the sum
required to defray tbe necessary expenses,) will be
distributed among tbe share holders. The prece
dence in this latter case will be given—1st, to the
1.744 prizes in cmrency; 2d, to the real estate; 8d,
to tbe cotton.
We ar.< pleased to state that tho expenses have
been much diminished by the liberality of a pertion
of the newspapers, end ihe boundlesB assistance

Should any who have made, or may make, volun
tary donations to any amount, desire to exchange
