CHAT WITH STATE: PAPERS.
The rural editors will raid Atlanta this
week, lo witness the opening of the
li3gislature. ,
The Talbott on Standard has been re
arranging i*s editorial corps.
The Talbotton negroes are enjoying
Christmas by connnbiating—so we learn
from the Standard.
A young man from Florida had ins
pocket relieved of thirty three dollars
last Tuesday night on the S. W. R. R.
between Fort Valley and Geneva; by one
of Old John Robinson’s scapegraces.
LeVekt College is in running order
again.
The Weekly Talbotton American hav
ing become weak in its financial pulsa
tions gives up the ghost.
The Talbotton Manager is the name of
the coming pnper.
We learn through a friend who has
recently seen Mr. Harris, the Congress
man elect from this District, that Gen
eral Betlmneh.is notified Mr. H. that he
will contest his election on the ground of
fraud in the managers. In the House of
Representatives,the General declares that
there were fourteen thousand illegal
votes cast in this District at the Kovi m-
ber election and also, that several thous
and negroes were prevented from voting.
This is nchef d'eouvreol impudence and
falsehood.—Talbotton Standard.

THE ILLS THAT FLESH ARE
heir to are many, but a remedy for them
all is furnished by nature. There is no
donbt that for every disease there is an
antidote in the vegetable kingdom. The
aborigines were the victims of many
loathsome maladies, yet they found in
the wilds of their forests remedies sure
and powerful. Acting on this belief, Dr.
Tntt’s Sarsaparilla and Queen’s Delight
is offered the pnblic as a most highly con
centrated vegetable compound, possess
ing extraordinary power for the cure of
rheumatism, neuralgia, scrofula, ulcers,
swelling of the glands, eruptions of tlie
skio, female diseases, liver complaint,
secondary syphilis, the effect of mercury,
e f 5. It is a most powerful alterative and
blood purifier, mid at the same time so
harmless that it may be used by all.
Watch out for ohills and fever, and
prepare the system for resisting its at
tack by using Dr. Tutt’s Liver Pills.
Dr. Tutt's Hair Dye is used in Europe
and America.
Good Dorcas had many to weep at her
death, but bow many more if she ha i

Ask the recovered dyspetics, bilious
sufferers, victims of fever and ague, the
mercurial diseased patient, how they re

appetite—they will till you by taking
Simmons’ Liver Regulator.

all who don’t use it, that it is the most
perfect and delightful thing for tho teeth
they ever dipptd a orasu into.
