Flour sud Bacon—the absolute necessaries of Wh
an the only exception to the general dullness. Flour
has been in active demand throughout ths week, and
and will ao continue until the wheat crop is harvested.
Tennessee Bacon is in active demand at from one to
two cents above that of Cincinnati and Eastern meats.
Home-made bacon, however, is exceedingly scares.
Cincinnati meat is more plentiful but not in so great
request. We quote—Bacon at 17c; yellow com at 80c;
white coni at 87 >jjc.
