Mayor’s Court.
There were but two cases brought up bofore His
Honor the Mayor for trial on Saturday.
The first was that of a young married woman, who
wus iharmed with being drank and disorderly in the
e.r>f ts. and using very insulting language to the po-
luviuan who arresled her. On being taken to the Po
ll,. Barracks, she carried her child, seven months old,
with her : but being unable to care for herself, much
leas her child, it was sent back to its father. The wo
man was sent to the Police Barracks to scour the
premises, after WliiClrshe is to be discharged.
