Cincinnati, Sept 22.—The steamer General Buell,
packet of the Cincinnati and Louieville mail line, was
boarded at Warsaw, Ky., night’ before EUfc/by two or
three hundred men, who forcibly seized c. W. Ferris,
United States mail agent, and took him ashore. Fer
ris was Provost -Marshal at Warsaw during /the Jfar,
and was instrumental in the execution of two guer

Death of Bishop J. M. Young

the Cathobc Diocese of Erie, died suddenly at the pas
