A Fire in Jeffersonville Indiana.
Louisville, Oct. 2.—Tbe tobacro factory, mrchiae
shops, and tiie foundry of the peaitenticly ct Jeffer-
sontrUe, Indiana, were burned this evening. HaV,
Moore & MMTer, lessees of the foundry, lost about one
hundred thousand dolla* 8. The tobacco factory was
’tased by Hack A Sons, of Lmisvi 41 e. Tuei:* loss Is
between two anc. tu^ee hundred thousand dollars.
The fire is supposed to have been caused by a convict
in the toba jco factory.
