Along the Uenks of this river- the soil is
particularly adapted to the culture of fruit
and vegetables, oranges, grapes, pineapples,
strawberries and other fruits known So tropi

public lands adjacent to the river offer great
facilities for the' raising of stock, as all the
country is free for cattle ranges to almost any

mills. Cypruss limber, profitable foi choice
lumber and shingles, is found in immense
quantities on the river shore. The facilities
for establishing orange groves are so great

chard in a short rime. The spot for the

The pleasure of residing on the St. Johns
river is a consideration apart from the profi-r
