with a fall aiteudnnea of petit and tales furors.
The criminal deckat was taken up, and the case ot
the 8Uto vs. John Murray, indicted as a common
cheat and swindler, wu called- and triad. The
prisoner plead not guilty, an. after bearing the evl-
denoe, .the jury returned a Similar verdict.
The State vs. Aaron Grayson and William Wallace,
colored, for riot, was next tried, and the Stare bar-
ing failed to make out a case v*. Aaron Grayson, be
was foand not guilty, aad a nolle protequipetered as
to William Wallace.

In the e tse of the 8tate vs. Fratk Lloyd and James
