CONSUMPTION.
Do not neglect it.
C ONSUMPTION can and has been cured
in thousands of cases by this nature's
own remedy.
Jitdson's Chemical Extract of Cherry and
Lungwort.—This medicine unlike most of
he catent remedies of the day, is the result
of careful study and experiments of a sci
entific and experienced Physician. The two
principal ingredients, have long been known
and celebrated.
Wild Cherry Bark.—When the strength of
this is properly extracted, is the best medicine
known for curing the worst coughs and oth
er pulmonary diseases, it loosens the phlegm
and enables the sufferer to expectorate ea
sily, and alone will cure the worst cold or
cough, which if neglected always lead to
Cdasump&ion.
heoigwort.—This is a plant the virtues of
which are known to but few, it has been
said of the most learned men of all times,
that “nature has provided a remedy for
each anj every disease,” and the discove
ries that are daily made, go to prove its
truth. Lungwort is doubtless the remedy de
signed by nature for Consumption. Its heal
ing properties are truly wonderful, and the
rapidity with which it cures the worst cases
of ulcerated lungs, soothing and subduing
all irritation, almost immediately, is a proof
of its adaption to this disease.
Caution.—To protect otir OWh as well as
the intorest of the Consumptive sufferer, we
are obliged to caution all to find the signa
ture of Comstock & Brother on the wrap
per, without this it is a worthless counter
feit. Rememb'-r tins. _ [April 1.

Da. A H CHaiiTic—Dear Sii / : Von wish to know

For about twenty year» I had been suffering
from Dyspepsia. Efery year she symptom* be
came worse, nor could I obtain permanent relief
from any course of medical treatment whatever.
About fourteen years since, in consequence qrf fre-
naent exposure’to the weather, iu the discharge cf
my pastoral duties, I became subject to a sever'*
Chronic Rheumatism, which for year after year,
caused me indescribable anguish. Farther: in the
winter of ’45 and T 46. in c< nseqnence of preaching
a great deal iu my own and various other churcheff
in this region, I was attacked by the Bronchitis,
which soon became so seveie as to require an im
mediate suspension of my pa>toral labors. My
aervmus svstevt was r.ow thoroughly prontraled, and
as my Bronchitis became worse, so also did my Dys
pepsia and Rheumatic affection—thus evincing
that these diserdtffs were connected with etch
other through the medium of the Nervous Sys
tem. In the whole pharmacopeia there seemed
to be no remedial agent which crsld reach and
recuperate my Nervous System ; every thing that
I had tried for this purpose had c..:x.pietely failed.
