Chronic Rheumatism, which for year afterg
caused meinde.crilr.ihle anguish. Farther: tn the
winter of ’45 and ’46, in couteqnence of preachinr
a great deal in my own and various other churches
in this region, I wa. attacked by the Broftebitis,
which soon became so severe as to require an im
mediate suspension of my pastoral iatiors. tie
nervous system was now thoroughly prostrated, and
a* my Bronch'tis became worse, so also did my Djjy ,
pepsia and ltheiimatie affection—thus ev.-ncftfr f
that these disorders were cunuected with each
other through the mediate of lb? Nervous Sys
tem. In the whole pbarmacopa ’a thane seemed
to be no remedial agent which indM reach and
recuperate my Nervous System ; every thing that
I Imd tried for this purpose had completely tailed.
