Public weighers, and proprietors
of ware-houses aud gin houses have
found a great saving, besides a great
convenience, in adopting tho scales
aud beams manufactured by the Chi-

scale is so nicely adjusted that a
wagon loud of cotton in hulk can he
weighed in a few seconds us accurst .*•

where it must he weighed a few
pounds at u time, and this scale is
furnished for $00, about one third

hales, their Cotton Beam and Frame
is the most perfect of auything over
made for the purpose—a nice bras*
beam with sliding poise, doing away
\ with lire heavy poise, which is all
tnat a man can lift. No public
weigher or ware house should he

We visited Haralson for the first

to buy books, or as wc suppose to
aid in the erection of the hall. Mem
bership may also bo obtained by
lending to the association ten dol
