. We have received by the hands of
Mr. Wesley O. Conner, the the twen
tieth report of the Bourd of Trus
tees and officers of the Georgia Insti

and Dumb. There is much infor
mation to be derived from its peru
sal. It makes one lecl glad to know
that the different States have made
pie nrrangyuHnts fur the care and
education of these poor unfortunates.
While some deplore the siulu.ness
of the world and its sinful tenden
cy, it will never become wholly irre
ligious so long as the different chari
table institutions are maintained at
the present high standard. In this
country the poverty stricken, the
blind, the feeble-minded, ihe insane,
the deaf and dumb are tenderly
cared for. Millions ure annually
expended for their assistant* and re

From the report before us it apt

Much other information is obtain
able from the report. There are for

States. For the year 1877, there
were in attendance 5711 pupils, in
structed by 35G teachers.

It makes no difference how many

An ANtonishiiig Fact.
A largo proportion of the Ameri

on the masses ol intelligent and val

of a pleasant existence of enjoyment
and usefulness as it ought to be.
There is no good reason for this, if
you will only throw aside prejudice
and skepticism, take the advice of
Druggists and your friends, and try
one bottle of Green’s August Flower.
Your speedy relief is certain. Mill
