Mr. N. F. Cobb killed u calf on hint
Saturday, lacking a few days of being

the quarter. We should suy that was
a heavy calf of his age. He had pro
posed to sell him for twelve dollars, as
he disliked to kill such line stock, hut
no one would buy. It brought about
$24 in beef. It is just us easy to raise

and it is surprising that our people
are so careless about improving their
cattle. Mr. Cobb presented us with
