Wo have investigated this subject

lias not yet nrrivod for tho people of
Folk county to make tho experiment;
and in view of the fact that our whole
country is depressed, in oonnequencu
of a great financial crisis which reach
es every department of our govern

are unwilling to impose upon our al
ready tax-ridd» n people the » \tru tax
ation which would i.oceHsarily result
if this scheme is carri* d out; and vve
