Tho committee discharged their du
ty and remitted to Brunswick by
Tuesday’s mail. We aro proud of tho
spirit manifested by our people in
responding to such calls.
From privato reliable information,
tho crowd out to hoar Felton and
Dabney at Dallas was much more in
sympathy with Dr. Felton than Dab-
noy. Also, that Gordon county will
go for Felton by 250 to 300 majority,
by tho accounts of Dabuoyitos. Cobb,
our informant says, will givo 700
Cherokoo 1000 to 1,200, and Bartow
not loss than before, about 1,500.
Whitfield iH strong for Felton; so is
Murray, Walker, and Chattooga. Ca
toosa and Dade will givo him a good
vote. Take this information from a
party who ought to know, ill connec
tion with what wo know of Floyd,
Folk and Haralson, and Floton’s elec
tion by an overwhelming majority is
certain.
