It is elat ed that possibly a preeodout will be taUhlisliod by tbo commission which Virtually decido tbo caso, and JusUoe Bradley is quoted ns snying that it is bard that a icgnl technicality will de prive Oregon of her voto. Wo think it is, and still bardor that un illegul technicality should deprive Florida of her voto for Tildon und Hendricks. Tbo Legislature of Florida ban gono into tbo work of retrenchment with a vim which might well bo fol lowed by our own Legist tiro. The burden of taxation to which tho poo- pin of that state Ijuh boon subjected under tho long rulo of carpet bag government, entailing upon the state poverty, has mudo thnso reforms absolutely necessary, nud they will bo hjtilcd with joy by all tho people as a prouiiso of a hotter day coming, under rulers of their own free choice. The House bad a rattling debate to-day, during which Mr. Carr, Korr's suc cessor made a cutting attack upon democratic colleagues who votod for the electoral bill. It inay bo definitely said now that llio detnoora's will submit to tho de cision of tho commission, no mattir what it may bo. They will protest for four yoars, but won’t fight a rnin- uto. Tbo roadiug of the domocratic ob jections to tbo Louisiana voter give littlo hope. It is generally believed that the oom mission will walk right over them. Tbo truth is, in a national point of viow there is not a moro earnest or loyal democrat in Wnshingtun than Dr. Felton, or one who stands higher in the confidence and estimation of tho party loaders. This is a compound remedy, prepared with scientific skill from vegetable ingredients, which rarely fails to cure Uto severest esses of Chill* and Xerer and the concomitant disorder*. Such a remedy the necessities of the people in mala- rioos districts demand. Its great superiority over any other medicine yet discovered for the cure of Intermittent* is, that it contains no qui nine or mineral, and those who take it are free from danger of quinism or any lnjnrions effects, and are aa healthy after using it is before. It has been extensively employed during the last thirty years in the trestment of these distressing disorders, and so unvarying has been its success that It has gained the reputation of being infal lible. It can, therefore, be safely recommended as a sure remedy and specific for ths Fever and Ague ortho West and the ChUts and Fever of the South. It eounteracta the miasmatic poison tn tho blood, and frees the system from its influ ence, so that fever and ague, shakes or chills, once broken up by it, do not return onbl the disease is again contracted. The great variety of disorders which arise from the irritation of this poison, such as Neuralgia, Rheumatism, Gout, Headache, Blindness, Toothache, Earache, Catarrh, Asthma, Pal pitation, Splenic Affections, Hysterics, Pain in the Bowels, Colic. Paralysis, and derange- of the Stomach, all of which becomo intermit tent or periodical, have no speedier remedy than Ateb's Aotk Cube, which cures them all alike, and protects the system from future attacks. Aa a preventive, it is of immense service in those communities where Fever and Ague prevails, as it stays the development of the disease if taken on tb« first approach of the premonitory symp toms. Travellers and temporary res Men is are thus enabled to defy these disorders, and few will ever sutler if they avail themselves of tho protection this remedy affords. For Idver Complaints, arising from torpidity, it is an excellent remedy; it stimulates this organ into healthy activity, and produces many remark able cures where other medicines fail.
