We find the Court House in as good condition as is common for such a building except one lock on tho Grand Jury room. The Jail needs considerable repairs. No safe locks on the doors. Oue cell unsafe on ac count of a hole made through the wall; end ono room used as a cook room badly defaced. Wo recommend that the Ordinary have the necessary repairs made, and that a rough kitchen he built on the jail lot, im far from the jail as is necessary to save tho jail from fire, with floor made of brick, tho whole not to cost over $50 and when built to allow no more cooking in tho jail building. We recommend flint ull tho county ofllpora lot out their priming to the lowest bidder. We recommend that John Hulsey, Charles Janes, Bin Hightower, A. G. When there is no obstruction to prevent, tho foot, when acted upon by these muscles, moves in the aro of a circle, tho ankle joint being the axis or centre of this circle, and no other part of tho limb or body is in volved in the movement. This produces n con stant lifting and dropping pulling and pushing of tho limbs from the hip joint to tho foot; when a woman iuns tho muchine at the ordinary speed, this movement of the limbs becomes a succession of violent jerks, imparting at each motion a harsh shock to tho lower portion of the body and spinal column.
