A trip to Richards court ground on
Tuesday of this week convinced us that
the roads in this county arc* in a terribly
bad condition. Its almost imposssible
to travel in a vehicle of any kind, es
pecially if it is anyway loaded, A few
days of good dry weather and our
thorough fares will be all right again
and toady for the travelling public.
Pink Calhoun’s bat was broken into on
raonday night and about thirty or thirty
five do’lors in money was taken from the
drawer, some cigars and a few drinks.
