The Pall Session of Butler Fe male College and Male I nstitute having closed on last Friday, the annual entertainrn ent was given at the court house at night, for the benefit of the students of the school. Quite early a large num ber of our citizens, mostly young people assemble nfc.thecourt house and parked away a lew hours most pleasantly in various ways, after which supper was announced. He will make a valuable citizen in any commnnity, and we hope he will detqimtne to move into our midst. Gin House Burned. We learn the gin house of Mi*. Mack Roberson, ot Crawford coun ty, was destroyed by fire a few days ago, together with ten bales of cotton. The cause of the fire, is supposed to have been from friction of the gin while in motion and the sparks of fire were thrown into the lint room.
